A Roundup 2020 Edition
Hello there again readers, and welcome back to Coffee Break Liberty, a blog where I tackle books, news, and many other things under the sun where liberty is a guiding principle. If this is your first time here I would like to extend a special warm welcome to you and hope you enjoy yourself while here.
What can be said about 2020 that hasn’t already been said right? If this is your first year here I end the year with accomplishments met and future goals for the following year and things to be on the lookout for!
So what happened this year at Coffee Break Liberty you might ask? Well, we reached 100’s of thousands of eyeballs for one!! The late spring and early summer saw huge growth here at CBL growing from 300 ish likes and followers to over 1000! The Facebook page had been in stagnation for some time but that has ended and has now seen lots of growth. The average views of the blog posts went up nearly 500%!! That is not a typo! This has also been the best year for mug sales from the website! 100% more than any previous year! This is what growth, no matter how small, looks like! 😀 A note too for those that have been here a while, you may have noticed and change in the person these posts have been written, changing from 3rd person to 1st person, I know a small editorial note but it leads to something else.
What is that you might ask? Well for years I have had the idea of either turning this into a podcast or at least adding one to the Coffee Break Liberty experience. This brings along with it a little bit of a re-branding, nothing major though really just a few banners will change. Hoping to get the new branding out before the end of this year, like I said though nothing major just a slight adjustment. There isn’t yet a layout to the podcast and as I have never done one before expect there to be some changes, minor and or major between the episodes.
Now I will admit I am being spread kinda thin as I just started my master’s program among other things but I will continue to keep plugging away at this labor of love because it is important. The liberty movement is something I believe in and hold dear. I hope and pray that you will all continue with me on this journey into 2021 and beyond!
Until the new year, I love you all, and keep your eyes on the Facebook page for more updates!
